The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack website of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company stage made for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency SRD said.
